Kane County Therapy K9s Visit Autism School

Several therapy K9s and their handlers from Kane County gathered recently for training and a visit to the Alexander Leigh Center for Autism.  The law enforcement departments and their respective K9s that took part in the exercise from Kane County included:

North Aurora Police Department with Indy, Village of Carpentersville Public Safety with Walter, Elgin Police Department with Chance, and the Kane County Sheriff's Office with Loki. Loki works with Kane County's Social Worker Support team which provides trauma intervention, victim advocacy and grief support. ​
