Veterans Day Events and Services in Kane County

Ceremonial events to honor our nation's veterans are being held at several locations throughout Kane County beginning Thursday November 9 and continuing until Saturday November 11.
- Aurora (Saturday November 11) - Aurora Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony, 10:15 a.m. – 11 a.m. in downtown Aurora (steps off at Water St. and Downer Pl. and ends at 23 E. Downer Place)
- Aurora (Thursday November 9) - East Aurora School District 131 Veterans Memorial Unveiling, 9 a.m. at the Northeast corner of Ellis Stadium at East Aurora High School, 500 Tomcat Lane, Aurora. A reception will follow in the Field House. Register online at https://www.d131.org/.
- Carpentersville (Saturday November 11)- Carpentersville Veterans Day Memorial, 9 a.m. at the Carpenter Park Veterans Memorial
- Elburn (Saturday November 11) - Elburn Veterans Day Ceremony, 11 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 311 E. North Street
- Elgin (Friday November 10) - Elgin Veterans Day Ceremony, 11 a.m. at the Heritage Ballroom (100 Symphony Way)
- Geneva (Saturday November 11) - Veterans Day Rifle Salute, 11 a.m., Third and State St.
- Hampshire Township (Saturday November 11) - 3rd Annual Veteran's Day Vet Appreciation Dinner, 4 p.m. in the Hampshire Township Building, 170 Mill Ave., Hampshire. RSVP to Ane at 262-725-1060.
- Huntley (Saturday November 11) Collection Event 10 a.m. and Veterans Day Ceremony 11 a.m. Huntley Town Square.
- North Aurora (Saturday November 11) - The Village of North Aurora will hold its annual Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. at the North Aurora Veteran’s Memorial (Willow Way and Farview Drive.)
- St. Charles (Saturday November 11) - St. Charles Veterans Day Ceremony, 10:30 a.m. at the St. Charles Fire Department, (Fire Station #1, 112 N. Riverside Ave.)
- St. Charles (Saturday November 11)- St. Charles North High School 17th Annual Veterans Salute concert at 5 p.m. at St. Charles North H.S. Auditorium (255 Red Gate Rd.) The concert is free but a ticket is required for entrance. For ticket information call 331-228-6416 or visit http://www.scnmusic.com/. In addition, veterans are invited to a pre-concert reception for themselves and guests.
- Sugar Grove (Friday November 10) - A Veterans Day Ceremony, 7:25 a.m. at Kaneland Harter Middle School, 1601 Esker Drive, Sugar Grove. RSVP to Ms. Rudo at 84289@kaneland.org with number attending by Nov. 6.
