World's Largest Dog Wedding to Raise Money for Animal Organizations
Register your canine for what hopes to be the world's largest dog wedding ceremony on Sunday, October 2 at Northwestern Medicine Field in Geneva.
The goal is to raise more than $100,000 for K9s for Warriors and 24 other Chicagoland service animal organizations and adoption groups.
The Kane County Cougars Baseball Foundation and Robust Promotions are partnering in an attempt to break the World Record this year for the Largest Dog Wedding Ceremony. This year's attempt is named "Diamonds in the Ruff" and the goal is to marry 1,000 dogs or 500 doggy couples.
Several area nonprofit animal organizations are participating in the event, including the Kane County Animal Control (KCAC). To register your dog (s) for the "puptials" and learn about important conditions visit https://www.largestdogwedding.com/Register.
The entry fee is $25 per dog and 100% of the registration fees will be split equally between K9s for Warriors and other participating animal charity groups.
In addition, dog owners may upload videos of their "puptials" in the Voice Your Vows competition for a chance at prizes including a lifetime of veterinary care for your pet and a trip for two to New York City to see your "puptials" on the NASDAQ billboard.
