Kane County Animal Control Pet of the Week: Kimchi
“I love (cats), they are so nice and selfish. Dogs are TOO good and unselfish. They make me feel uncomfortable. But cats are gloriously human." – Lucy Maud (L.M.) Montgomery, Canadian author of Anne of Green Gables novels
Are you tired of the sameness of each and every day with no foreseeable end? Are you looking for a kitten to raise your spirits and help get you out of the doldrums?
How about putting a little sass in your life?
Then look no further than KCAC, the home of Kimchi, a 4-month-old, spayed calico Domestic Shorthair.
Kimchi is a little different than a typical sweet kitten. She's definitely special and on first meeting, she might seem almost comical. The markings around her face appear as though someone took a brown marker and traced her nose and mouth, filling in with a little bit of shade in the certain areas.
Her eyes glow gold which emphasizes her fiery personality. Found as a stray, Kimchi will need an experienced cat owner who can handle a feisty feline. If you fit the bill, then Kimchi might be the one you've been waiting for.
She thrives on interactive play and mental stimulation which keeps her entertained for hours. If you're up for engaging in games of chase, feather wands, and laser pointers, then you're going to be the perfect match.
She loves to explore and climb, so a cat tree or some high perches would be a fantastic addition to her new home. Also, she has an affinity for cozy spots to curl up and take her daily catnaps. A comfy bed or a warm blanket will be her sanctuary.
In return for your caring and affection, Kimchi will bring endless entertainment, love, and companionship into your life as you face each day together.
