Kane County Animal Control Pet of the Week - Dame Judi Dench (the kitten)
“People who love cats have some of the biggest hearts around." – Susan Easterly, Award-winning pet writer and contributing editor to Cat Fancy magazine
She's can be a bit dramatic when she meows for attention because she wants someone, anyone to pet her and it has to be right now!
And maybe, just maybe, they could give her a tummy rub, too. After all, she was named after a very famous British actress who has the royal title of Dame, so she deserves nothing but the best.
Her name is Dame Judi Dench. She is a 3-month-old, spayed gray and white Domestic Shorthair with a personality that cannot be ignored. You would almost think she was auditioning for a daytime drama by the way she melodramatically throws herself on the ground.
She presses her small kitten-face against the wire of the cage and sticks both of her little front arms through the openings in order to try to get somebody's attention. The ultimate goal with all of these maneuverings is, of course, for her to get petted.
And, Dame Judi Dench doesn't do anything without adding a full vocal interpretation of all of the events.
So, if you're looking for a feline companion that isn't afraid to uphold her end of the conversation, then Dame Judi Dench is the absolute best kitten to add to your family.
