According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to climb this week with peak afternoon heat indices of 95-105°F. The hottest temperatures will occur Wednesday through Friday. Thunderstorms are possible throughout the week with the highest chances being Wednesday and again on Friday.

The following facilities in Kane County have been pre-identified as community cooling locations:
