Volunteers Sworn in to Serve with Kane County Emergency Management

Kane County Connects Staff 11/3/2023 2:00AM

Emergencies and disasters don’t happen every day, but when they do, it’s through the efforts of our dedicated volunteers that Kane County and its residents are better prepared to respond.  On November 1, 2023, seven volunteers took the oath of office to serve with the Kane County Office of Emergency Management (OEM.) To date, the volunteer corps with OEM has given nearly 10,000 hours of their time responding to emergencies.

Congratulations and thank you to all of the OEM volunteers.
