LaFox Road Union Pacific Railroad Crossing Closure for Reconstruction

On Friday, September 13th, the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR)
will
be closing LaFox Road at the railroad crossing about ¼ mile north of
Keslinger Road in Blackberry Township. This full road closure will allow
for the railway crossing to be safely reconstructed, improving the
riding surface for LaFox Road motorists.
The
road is scheduled to be closed at 7:00 AM on Friday, September 13th and
is expected to reopen by 5:00 PM on Monday, September 16th, weather
permitting. The posted detour route will use IL 38, Peck Road and
Keslinger Road to divert traffic around the construction area. Motorists
should be prepared to reduce
their speed, exercise caution, and to obey all traffic control devices.
