Voters in Kane County can now cast their ballots at any precinct polling place in the county on election day for both the March 19 primary and the Nov. 5 general election.
According to Kane County Clerk Jack Cunningham, a new state law (Senate Bill 2123) allows every precinct polling place to function as a vote center, enhancing accessibility to voting across the county.
Cunningham emphasized that this change mirrors the existing practice for early voting and extends accessibility to election day, similar to efforts in Peoria and DuPage counties.
