Adoptable Pet of the Week from Kane County Animal Control

It should be illegal to be this cute!

All it takes is one look at Butch, a 3-month-old neutered brown and white Domestic Shorthair, to fall head over heels in love with the cutest kitten this side of the Fox River.

Big green eyes, a royal Lion King nose with a black ‘M’ accentuating his forehead make up Butch’s little kitten face. As he stares intently into your eyes with his huge orbs, you can feel your heart of hearts melting into a puddle. Initially a little shy at first, Butch breaks out of his shell very quickly.

He is a kitten after all and kittens do everything very quickly. Butch will answer you with a “mew” if you call his name. Keep saying his name and he will answer you each time. Keep talking and Butch will try to catch up on the conversation. You’ll never be alone with tiny Butch in the house.

Put your hand out and he will put his head into your hand and fall asleep. Place him into the crook of your elbow and arm and he will bury his head into the crook of your arm. He came to us as a stray, a lost little kitten all by himself in a world he doesn’t know anything about. Luckily a kind person decided he was worth saving and brought him to KCAC where he has thrived.

He’s even made friends with other kittens from another litter. Butch is the perfect little guy to bring home with you, especially if this is your first pet. He will be your very best friend forever!

 Can I get a “’mew?”
