Their names almost sound like something Dolly might have mentioned in telling one of her iconic stories.

There's Hootin', a 4-month-old male brown tabby Domestic Shorthair. His brother's moniker is Hollerin', also a 4-month-old brown tabby with longer hair. Both of them were brought to KCAC together after someone found them on their property.

They're little kittens, after all. Literally, just babes in the woods. They were not really equipped to be on their own, but were forced to roam the unfriendly fields by themselves.

They are definitely a bonded pair. It would be an ideal situation if both Hootin' and Hollerin' could get adopted together into the same home. There, they could grow and learn all the ins and outs of life as they emerge into loving and beautiful cats together.

Hollerin' is the more outgoing of the two, with Hootin' tagging along behind, giving him the lead. When Hootin' feels safe, then he's all about getting his share of attention along with his brother.

When a visitor is in the room with them, they might start out the introduction by shyly holding onto each other for comfort and security before they venture toward the person.

Eventually, they both will take steps forward to check out the newcomer. Pretty soon, they're vying for attention and asking for a whole lot of pets. It's as if the friendly switch went off and they were finally able to let down their guard.

Hootin' and Hollerin' will make wonderful additions to someone's family looking for two sweet kittens to always love forever.

All Kane County Animal Control adoptable cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccines including rabies. They are tested for feline leukemia/FIV and heartworm.

The adoption fee for dogs is $200 and $100 for cats. Adoption of two dogs is $300 and it is $150 to adopt two cats.
