Kane County Sponsors Environmental Film 🌍 “One Earth Film Fest"

Kane County is partnering with Fox River Ecosystem Partnership to sponsor the environmental film festival, “One Earth Film Fest." The festival will take place from April 17-23. 

Films will be featured in different venues across Chicagoland and surrounding suburbs as well as virtual screening. Kane County Sustainability office is sponsoring a virtual film this year called Carbon, The Authorized Biography. 

The film includes scientists like Neil Degrasse Tyson and Katharine Hayhoe. Narrated in first person by Sarah Snook (Succession), “Carbon" tells of her birth in the violent core of an exploding star and of turbulent sagas through the fabric of our evolving Earth. Accompanied by celebrated scientists, unique animations and a stunning orchestral score.
