Unpaid Kane County Property Taxes are now Considered Delinquent

All payments must now include an additional $10.00 publication fee. Payments must be received by the Kane County Treasurer’s Office (719 S. Batavia Ave. Bldg., A, Geneva) no later than October 28, 2022 by 4:30 p.m.
Postmarks cannot be honored. You are encouraged to hand deliver your payment during office business hours Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note the office will be closed on October 11, 2022.
The payment drop box at the Government Center is no longer accepting property tax bills.
The last day to make an online payment at www.kanecountytreasurer.org is October 21, 2022, by 4:00 p.m.
For payments made after October 21, 2022:
• Payments must be made by cashier’s check, money order or cash.
• Payments made by a credit card will have a 2.35% service fee applied.
• Payments made by debit card will have a 2.35% service fee applied.
