Just What Was Recycled? When's the Next Event?

​

The first Kane County Recycling event of 2024 was a popular one. Volunteers counted a whopping 809 cars, marking the highest turnout at any single Kane County Recycles event since 2021. 

Additionally, the paint collection exceeded expectations, collecting  just over 2 tons of latex paint. While they are still totalling the exact figures for shredding volumes, people brought enough paper to completely fill one of the trucks, which has a capacity of 12,000 lbs. 

​These impressive statistics reflect the incredible support and participation from our community, and we're immensely grateful for everyone's contributions to our initiatives.
