Thank You - Kane County Government Blood Drive Exceeds Expectations
The recent Kane County Government blood drive, held in collaboration with the American Red Cross, made an impact on the local blood supply.
The goal was to collect 22 units of blood to meet hospital needs. The drive managed to collect an impressive 29 units. This contribution will help save up to 87 lives, with 25 units coming from Whole Blood donations and 4 from PowerRed donations.
Additionally, the drive welcomed 7 first-time donors, highlighting the community's commitment to making a difference. Kane County thanks all participants for their outstanding support and generosity.
However, the need is still great.
If you would like to donate blood, Kane County will be hosting blood drives on August 22, September 16, and October 21, starting at 10 a.m on the Kane County Government Center Campus in Geneva (719 S. Batavia Ave Geneva)
