Fabyan Parkway at Western Avenue Intersection and Multi-Use Path Reconstruction

Beginning the week of Monday, May 13, construction of the Fabyan Parkway at Western Intersection Improvement will begin, weather permitting. Work will include earth excavation, roadway reconstruction, HMA pavement, storm sewer facilities, drainage structures and landscape restoration. Also included is the reconstruction of the existing multi-use path along the south side of Fabyan Parkway from Western Avenue to IL Route 31. The anticipated completion date for this work is late fall 2024.
The above-mentioned road will remain open during construction, and will include short term and temporary daily lane closures and flaggers, primarily from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Saturday.
