Kane County Connects Staff 10/3/2024 12:00PM

Emergencies and disasters don’t happen every day, but when they do, it’s through the efforts of the Office of Emergency Management staff and volunteers that Kane County and its residents are better prepared to respond.

On October 2, 2024, 11 newly trained volunteers took the oath of office to serve with the Kane County Office of Emergency Management (OEM).     oem graduation 2.png

According to OEM Director Scott Buziecki, the volunteer corps with OEM is on pace to surpass 13,000 hours of service this year responding to emergencies.

Congratulations and thank you to all of the OEM volunteers!    oem graduation 3.png
