With the increasing number of avian influenza (H5N1) cases in animals nationwide, Kane County Animal Control is providing residents with precautions to protect their pets.

Information has been compiled from the CDC, IDPH, IDOA, and IDNR to provide easy access to reliable resources.

Residents who raise poultry or keep egg-laying chickens are encouraged to review the following resources and report sick or dead birds.
