How to Choose the Best Sweet Corn:

  • Husks: Look for bright, moist, dark-green husks that are tightly wrapped around the cob. Avoid dry or yellowing husks.
  • Tassels: Choose corn with golden-brown, slightly sticky tassels. Dark, brittle or dry tassels may indicate older corn.
  • Kernels: Feel the kernels through the husk. They should be plump, firm and filled all the way to the tip, without soft or empty spots.
