
Second Phase of Annual Kane County Roadway Resurfacing Program Underway

The second phase of the Annual County Resurfacing Program is underway. Construction will take place from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Saturday, with temporary lane closures and flaggers for safety.
This phase will include milling, resurfacing, structure adjustments, curb and gutter replacement, and pavement markings, as part of ongoing road maintenance. Work is expected to take approximately 4 months, weather permitting. Below are the roads to be resurfaced, with curb and gutter replacement where noted. Please note the listed order does not reflect the sequence of resurfacing:
- McGough Road – IL Route 64 to Peplow Rd
- Kirk Road – 300' south of IL 64 to 780' south of Dunham Rd (curb and gutter repairs)
- Kirk Road – HMA Shoulders Only – Hill Rd to Lakeside Ct/Illinois Ave (curb and gutter repairs)
- Ramm Road – 1,380' to 1,480' east of Sauber Rd
Roads will remain open, but expect temporary daily lane closures. Thank you for your patience during this important maintenance work.
