Bears Player Surprises Teacher Battling Cancer

Recently, Chicago Bears player Khalil Herbert and Staley Da Bear gave
Harriet Gifford Elementary teacher Rosie Torres a surprise visit! Rosie
has been diagnosed and has started treatment for a rare form of ovarian
cancer. 
As part of the NFL’s Crucial Catch mission to intercept cancer
and celebrate its survivors, Rosie was gifted a custom jersey, football,
helmet and a $1,000 grant for her classroom.
She also received two
tickets to the Oct. 13 game, where she will be honored as part of the Crucial Catch Campaign.
