The Illinois Department of Transportation will be continuing the improvements to the intersection of IL Route 47 and Main Street in Blackberry Township by closing the west segment of the intersection beginning, weather permitting, Wednesday, Nov. 17.
During that time, Main Street motorists will detour via, U.S. Route 30/Illinois 56, Keslinger and Dauberman Roads. The work is expected to be completed in three days.
Upon completion of the west segment, a full closure will take place on the east segment. During that time, a detour will direct Main Street motorists to Dauberman, Keslinger and Bunker Roads. The work is expected to be completed in approximately five days.
The entire project is expected to be completed in Summer 2022.
