Sept. 12 Huntley Car Show Raises Money For Special Olympics

The Huntley Police Department is encouraging area car enthusiasts to attend the 20th Annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show to benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois.

The event is hosted by BVG Motorsports takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, at Huntley Ford, 13900 Auto Mall Drive.

Vehicles of all makes and models are welcome with a $10 donation.

Admission to the show is free.

Trophies will be awarded. All donations collected during the show will benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois.

The Huntley Police Department and other community members will be at the show selling 2021 Law Enforcement Torch Run merchandise, while also raising awareness and spending time with local Special Olympic Athletes. Additionally, raffle tickets for a Harley Davidson Motorcycle and a Coleman Lantern Camper can be purchased at this event.

Special Olympics Illinois supports over 23,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and almost 13,000 young athletes ages 2 to 7 with and without intellectual disabilities from communities throughout the state, including Huntley.
