Celebrate autumn’s arrival with the Forest Preserve District, set for noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at the newly reopened Oakhurst Forest Preserve, 1680 Fifth Ave., Aurora.
At this popular, family-friendly festival, Forest Preserve District officials will have pumpkin painting, mule-drawn hayrides, games, guided hikes, nature crafts, folk music and refreshments.
Admission is free, but there is a nominal fee for crafts and refreshments. No registration is required.
