The Kane County Division of Transportation announced today (Monday, Aug. 9, 2021) that construction on the Harter Road over Tributary #2 to Welch Creek box culvert project, located between Perry Road and Dauberman Road in Kaneville is substantially complete.

Remaining work includes minor cleanup and landscape restoration. Impact to the motoring public is anticipated to be minimal during these operations.

Culvert replacement work began the week of May 24. Harter Road was closed to traffic during the project, and traffic was detoured around the construction using Perry Road, West County Line Road, Main Street Road and Dauberman Road.

The culvert replacement is part of the county’s comprehensive road and bridge maintenance program, which provides safe and efficient transportation for the motoring public.
