Property Tax Assessment Changes For Geneva Township Will Publish July 29

According to a news release from the Kane County Supervisor of Assessments Office, the 2021 assessment changes for property in Geneva Township are being published Thursday, July 29, in the Kane County Chronicle.

That means the final date for challenging your Geneva Township property tax assessment is Aug. 30, 2021.

Property Tax Equalization

After all revisions and corrections by the Geneva Township Assessor were applied, each non-farm property in Geneva Township was equalized by applying a factor of 1.0155.

To obtain assessment information about a property in any township, call your local township assessor’s office or visit the township assessor’s website.

Other Published Assessment Changes

Assessment changes in Batavia, Big Rock, Blackberry, Dundee, Hampshire, Kaneville, Plato, Rutland, Sugar Grove, and Virgil Townships were published July 15; the final filing deadline for these townships is Aug. 16, 2021.

Assessment changes for Aurora, Burlington, Campton, Elgin, and Saint Charles townships have not yet been published; as of today, no final filing deadline has been established for these townships.
