‘Coffee With The Chairman’ Video Series Aims To Keep Residents Informed on Key Issues

Kane County government is offering a relaxed, somewhat informal way to keep residents informed on the issues facing county residents — as well as a personal introduction to some of the area’s movers and shakers.

The video series is called “Coffee With The Chairman,” and you can watch the videos simply by clicking on the homepage of the Kane County government website.

The most recent addition features Kane County Board Chairman Corrine Pierog’s interview of 49th District state Sen. Karina Villa. The YouTube video lasts about 20 minutes and covers a wide range of topics that generally center on issues and programs related to the pandemic.

The first installment of the series included an interview with Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin. The 23-minute interview also includes Sal Dazzo, of Gun Barrel Coffee in Batavia, and discussion about the impacts of the pandemic on local businesses.
