In an optimistic signal for both the local economy and the housing market, the village of Algonquin today (Friday, April 30, 2021) announced the grand opening of a new, 279-unit single-family home development called “Trails of Woods Creek.”
According to a village of Algonquin news release, the development located at Algonquin and Frank roads features “nature areas, open spaces and parks, or ponds — and all offer a peaceful setting.”
The development includes 14 home designs, with price ranges from $293,990 to the high $400,000s. Designs range from two to six bedrooms, two to four baths and two- to four-car garages. Unit sizes range from 1,683 to 2,263 square feet.
John Hudson, director of sales for developer Pulte Homes Illinois said he believes the development, built on the former Terrace Hill Golf Course, will be one of the most sought-after new home communities in the Chicago area.
“Trails of Woods Creek is a flagship Pulte Community that will offer ranches, starter homes and move-up homes with life tested floor plans and uncompromising quality,” he said in the village of Algonquin news release. “We are striving not only to build this beautiful community, but to create a world class customer experience for every new homeowner we work with.”
Algonquin Village President Debby Sosine said the Trails of Woods Creek is a wonderful addition to the village.
“The conservation design of this project was a result of the great team effort of our village staff and the Pulte team to achieve a product that works well with the topography of the land,” she said.
