Who’s on The Ballot? Here’s a List of School Candidates For April 6 Election

Public schools, of course, account for the biggest chunk of your property tax payment — generally in the neighborhood of 68% of that tax bill.

And schools are, of course, vitally important to the quality of life in Kane County, affecting everything from your property values to your child’s intellectual, physical and emotional development.

So shouldn’t you try to find out a little more about the candidates who are running for school board?

If you’d like to do that prior to the April 6 consolidated election, the Kane County Clerk’s Office has a list of candidates. Just click this link or scroll down to see that list.

Once you know who’s on the ballot, you can do your due diligence and do an internet search for the candidates’ websites, social media pages and candidate profiles.
