Mobile COVID-19 Testing in Carpentersville Jan. 23, Elgin And Hampshire Jan. 24

A mobile testing unit managed by the Illinois Department of Public Health will be in Kane County this week to provide COVID-19 tests to the community.

The mobile testing unit will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following days and at the following locations while supplies last:

  • Saturday, Jan. 23 at Dundee Crown High School, 1500 Kings Road, Carpentersville
  • Sunday, Jan. 24 at Elgin Sports Complex, 709 Sports Way, Elgin
  • Sunday, Jan. 24 at Hampshire High School, 1600 Big Timber Road, Hampshire

To be clear, these are mobile testing sites, not locations for receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

Testing is free and open to all regardless of symptoms. If you have recently been exposed to a potential or confirmed COVID-19 case, you are encouraged to get tested, even if you are not experiencing symptoms.

A phone number and name are required in order to receive testing results. Photo ID is not required.
