North Aurora Police Seek Video of Thursday Armed Robbery at Old Second Bank

The North Aurora Police Department is seeking the public’s help in the investigation of the Thursday armed robbery at Old Second Bank, 200 John St.

“We are looking for video in the area that might show the suspect getting into a vehicle,” police said in a news release.

The robbery happened just after 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, about 5 feet 7 inches or 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a gray hat pulled down over his ears, black Carhartt-type jacket with a hood, blue jeans, white with red shoes that might have been the Vans or Converse brand, and a white surgical or N95-type mask.

He was last seen going north from the bank.
