The pedestrian bridge at Fabyan East Forest Preserve in Geneva, will undergo repairs, from Monday, Oct. 12, through Monday, Oct. 26.
Alliance Contractors of Woodstock will be conducting repairs to the concrete bridge abutments. Public access to the bridge will be usable the majority of the time, but there will be intermittent closures.
Signs will be placed on the trail to notify the public of the possibility of intermittent closures.
Forest Preserve District officials ask trail users to exercise caution and be mindful of potential, brief closures during this time.
