According to a Twitter post by the Kane County Clerk’s Office, early voting and vote by mail efforts are off to a fast start.

As of Oct. 12, the Clerk’s Office is reporting 10,764 in-person votes have been cast. That compares to 3,478 at same stage in 2016 presidential election.

Additional Polling Places Open Oct. 19

Early voting at early permanent polling places and other early voting locations, begins on Oct. 19, 2020, and extends through the end of day before election day.

You may go to any one of these locations to vote early. Early voting is NOT conducted at your usual polling place.

Polling places will only be open for voting on Nov. 3, the observed Election Day.

The ballot is the same whether vote by mail, early, or at the polling place on Election Day.
