The Fox Valley United Way is hosting its first ever drive-thru resource fair from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 19, at Santori Library, 120 W. Benton St., Aurora.
Trish Rooney, director of Early Childhood Initiatives for Fox Valley United Way, said the organization is committed to ensuring all local children from birth to age 5 are Strong, Prepared, and Ready for Kindergarten.
“During this unprecedented season of remote learning, we want to reach all of the families in our communities to connect them with any resources they many need to help their children succeed in school and life,” she said.
Families will receive a PNC Grow Great Activity Kit, masks, activities and information from local agencies (the library, school districts, Family Focus, and more), and resources to support their family and children during distance learning.
SPARK will also provide developmental screenings on-site with safe social distancing.
