Answers to frequently asked questions from the Sept. 18 webinars for the Coronavirus Relief Funds small business and nonprofit organization applications are now posted on Kane County’s relief fund webpage.

Kane County is accepting applications for small businesses, chambers of commerce and nonprofit organizations for Coronavirus Relief Funds.
The deadline to apply is 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2020.
The U.S. Department of Treasury allocated more than $92 million in coronavirus relief funds to Kane County though the CARES Act to ease the impact of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic in our communities.
Of that, $8 million has been allocated for small businesses and chambers of commerce grants, and $2 million in grants for nonprofit organizations.
In addition to the FAQ answers, information about the funding program and how to apply, as well as recordings of the webinars about the application process, also are available on the program’s webpage. The page is updated as new information becomes available.
