Although the Kane County 16th Circuit Court reopened June 1 under safety protocols and guidelines, folks who are hoping for a courthouse wedding ceremony will have to wait a little longer.
Couples with licenses that will expire before July 13 are encouraged to call 630-232-5950.
Couples who have judicial marriage / civil union packets and would like to continue to have a ceremony performed by a private officiant will need to come back into the office to get a marriage /civil union license printed to use the day of the ceremony.
