KCAC Offers Free Pet Pictures With The Easter Bunny March 21 in Geneva

Ever make “bunny ears” behind your brother or sister when you posed for a family photo? Here’s a chance to get bunny ears in the picture with your four-legged best friend and family.

The public is invited to bring their furbabies from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 21, to Two Bostons, 1900 S. Randall Road in Geneva, to get a free pet and family photo with the Easter Bunny.

Two Bostons is partnering with Kane County Animal Control to make sure each canine and feline photo shoot goes as smoothly as possible.

One of Kane County’s foremost photography studios, Lorena Page Photography, will again be taking the pictures of the pups or kitties with the Easter Bunny for a moment caught on camera that will last a lifetime.

All images will be downloadable at the Two Bostons website. The event is first come, first served. For everyone’s safety, please use only standard leashes, not retractable.

Kane County Animal Control raised more than $200 in donations at the pet and family photo with Santa day Dec. 7 at Two Bostons in Geneva. More than 40 families brought their dogs, cats and even a snake. The donations help homeless pets that don’t have families with which to share this holiday season.

“We had such an amazing turnout in December,” said Brett Youngsteadt, administrator for Kane County Animal Control. “Two Bostons did an amazing job hosting and we are very thankful for the partnership we have with them. The community was very generous to donate to us as well.”

Late last year, Kane County Animal Control celebrated its status as the first county building to use solar energy. The panels provide the Animal Control building with nearly all of its energy needs. Cost savings will go back into the shelter’s budget and directly benefit the animals.
