Kane County is hosting a free, 90-minute Google Insider Seminar on website design for search engine optimization.
The seminar is a follow-up to the popular Google Insider Tips series, which the county has hosted for the past couple years.
Sponsored by the Kane County Development and Community Services Department, Worldwide Network Solutions and Autumn Consulting, the event will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, in the main level conference room of Building A at the Kane County Government Center, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Geneva.
The event is free, but registration is required.

This new seminar will feature Butcher On The Block, a local deli and high end butcher shop based in Lake In The Hills. The business’ owners collaborated with Autumn Consulting to design to build and optimize their site for Google’s ranking using search engine optimization.
Participants will learn specific design techniques to craft and implement effective website designs that support high search rankings.
Attendees will also have a real-time invitation to join in on a Flash Sale provided by Butcher On The Block who specializes in all naturally fed beef, chicken, and pork.
Organizers say the seminar is perfect for privately-held business and nonprofit organizations, senior business leaders, business owners, communications directors or economic development officials.
Parking is free. The visitor parking lot is located on the north side of the campus.

The presenter, Autumn Consulting President Nathan Misirian, has focused on Google marketing strategies for businesses and organizations.
