Bill Nye, CEO of The Planetary Society, will join the 14th District STEM Scholars graduation ceremony via SKYPE at 6 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018. The ceremony will also feature Fermilab Director Nigel Lockyer and Lt. Gov. Evelyn Sanguinetti.
“This year’s class of STEM Scholars was excited and engaged at all of our meetings — from a coroner’s office to a community college, and everything in between. The sky’s the limit for these young leaders, and I cannot wait to see what they will accomplish in science, medicine, education, business and more,” said 14th District Rep. Randy Hultgren. “This year’s graduates are in for a real treat, with remarks from Lt. Gov. Sanguinetti, who joined graduates last year, Director Lockyer and Bill Nye, whose television program inspired many in their generation to get excited about STEM.”
