The Batavia Park District will host the 10th annual Super Savvy Senior Expo from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, June 6, at the Eastside Community Center, 14 N. Van Buren St., in Batavia.
The Batavia Senior Citizen’s Club will be celebrating “island style” this year to commemorate the 10th anniversary.
This free expo will showcase a variety of services available for young at heart individuals and/or their caregivers. Stop by to browse more than 40 local resources in areas such as healthcare, travel, entertainment, improving daily life and more.
Free refreshments will be served and expo visitors can enter for a chance to win great prizes. The first 100 people through the door will also receive a complimentary tote bag and a special “island” themed gift from the district.
This year, the Illinois Secretary of State will be on site to offer a free Rules of the Road Course in Shannon Hall from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. To register for the course, please call 630-879-5235.
There will also be a free Balance and Fall Prevention Workshop at noon in Shannon Hall, brought to you by Physical Therapy Advantage.
