At least 70 high-powered employers from throughout the area will be attending Waubonsee Community College’s Spring Career Fest.
The career development event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 5, at WCC’s Sugar Grove campus on IL Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive. The event is hosted by the WCC Career Development Center in coordination with the Illinois Department of Employment Security.
In addition to exploring job and internship opportunities, career fairs are also a great source of networking leads.
The list of registered employers is growing but already includes many big-name employers, including Advocate Health Center, Carl Buddig & Co., Cast Aluminum Solutions, Kemper Sports at Cantigny, Menard Inc., Naperville 9-1-1, Old Second National Bank, Rich Harvest Farms, SciTech Hands On Musuem, the U.S. Army, XPO Logistics and many more.
Organizers suggest you have plenty of resumes on hand. Professional attire is strongly encouraged.
There is no charge.
