You’ve heard of the awesome, annual Kane County Recycling Extravaganza?
This ain’t it. But there is a recycling extravaganza this weekend, it’s nearby and it is not only sanctioned but heartily endorsed by Kane County Recycling Coordinator Jennifer Jarland.
“Please spread the word about this amazing event happening in Wheaton this Saturday,” Jarland said in an email just moments ago. “This Recycling Extravaganza and Green Fair is open to ALL, so residents of Kane County can participate. Sorry for the late notice.“
This particular recycling extravaganza takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, 2015 Manchester Road, Wheaton. The Green Fair runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., also at the fairgrounds. Click here to see a map or get directions.
There is a $5 admission fee, according to the website of Scarce, the DuPage-based organization running the event. Kids age 15 and under get in free.
