For the second consecutive year, Judson University in Elgin has been named among the “Best of the Best” in Worship Leader magazine’s editor’s picks for colleges/universities.
The annual November/December issue highlights the editorial team’s listing of all of the “Best of” selections in a Premier Resource Guide. Judson’s Demoss Center for Worship in the Performing Arts is recognized for the quality of its worship education program, which includes excellence seen in both classroom instruction and in its student- and faculty-produced worship CDs that are recorded in the on-campus recording facility, Dark Room Studios.
“The DCWPA is honored to be an editor’s pick for Worship Leader’s ‘Best of the Best’ in the college and university category once again this year,” said DCWPA Director Dr. Warren Anderson. “The growth that we are seeing is just remarkable, with robust numbers in our majors, a 300 percent increase in the numbers of our ensembles in the past five years, and record numbers in those ensembles. My colleagues and I stand amazed at what God is doing, and we are grateful to be part of His work here at Judson in the Demoss Center.”
Worship Leader is a bimonthly print and digital publication that focuses on Christian-based contemporary worship music, business, education, technology and news.
