2024 Property Tax Bills in Kane County to Be Mailed by May 1

Property tax bills for 2024 (payable in 2025) in Kane County will be mailed on or before May 1, 2025, according to the Kane County Treasurer’s Office.

1st installment due: June 2, 2025
2nd installment due: September 2, 2025

Payment Options:

✅ Online at Treasurer.KaneCountyIL.gov (E-checks are free—and staff are available to assist)
✅ By mail using the payment coupon and return envelope
✅ Drive-up drop box at the Treasurer’s Office
✅ At many Kane County banks (with a payment coupon)
✅ Kane County Clerk’s Aurora Branch Office
(5 E. Downer Place, Suite F – personal checks or money orders only)
✅ In-person at the Kane County Treasurer’s Office during regular business hours

Treasurer Chris Lauzen said in a media release that he and his team understand the heavy financial strain property taxes can place on families and businesses.
