“It's hard not to immediately fall in love with a dog who has a good sense of humor." – Kate DiCamillo, Because of Winn-Dixie

Hello, excuse me!

My name is Jude, and I am a 4-month-old female, spayed, black German Shepherd Dog-mix who's waiting here, right here, for someone to adopt me. See, my feet have white on 'em. I thought I'd tell you that.

I'm a very good girl. I don't mind the leash most of the time, some of the time. I don't mind it, but probably will need to go to school. That's what they told me. I don't jump or anything, I just need to be a little better. Do you want to train me?     jude1.jpg

I like toys, sometimes, not all the time. I like 'em if there's nothing else for me to play with. If you're not around, then I can toss a toy by myself, all by myself, for a little while.

Are you sad, now? It's okay. I'll probably find a home soon. Maybe there'll be a brother or sister for me to play with. I look good in this dress, don't I?

I like other dogs, even if they're different than me, like bigger or fatter or whatever. If they like me, what's not to like? I like them. We could play together and I wouldn't make fun of their ears like they do with me, maybe. Or maybe I would! Ha!

If I feel comfortable with you, then I'll let you see my belly and you can give me a tummy rub, 'cause I like tummy rubs. Then we can roll around in the grass and chase after each other 'cause we won't have those stupid leashes on!

I will get bigger and be beautiful someday, you'll see. Just you wait and see. And I will be your best friend forever and ever!
